Welcome to Trinity! 

I am Mrs. Joyce Lendt, the 1^st and 2^nd grade teacher at Trinity.  It is a privilege being a part of the mission we have in providing a high quality Christian education for all the children at Trinity Lutheran School.  Once again, our year begins with anticipation of encouraging and teaching the children to think and learn above and beyond where each has been before.  Each child has been given different skills and talents, and yet each child has the common goal to use those God-given talents to the best of his/her ability.  Our motivation to do our best is the love God has for us.  You will see the love of God as it permeates all around as the children are taught and cared for.  What an awesome privilege!  It truly is a joy to teach and to learn! 

Our school theme this year is “God’s Time is the Right Time”.   It will be a great year!

Summer has begun and so have all the vacations.  Enjoy!  Remember that God is always with you wherever you go.  Take God with you for all your vacation experiences and enjoy His Word in your daily living. 

Take the time to continue writing in your daily journal.  You’ll love reading all about your “summer vacation days” later on in your life.

Shopping is even more fun when you keep brushed up on your Math skills and facts.There are so many ways that you can use all the Math skills you have already learned in just everyday living! 

Have Fun! Learn all you can from all your summer experiences.  See you in church, in town, or playing outside.

I am Mrs. Joyce Lendt, the 1st & 2nd grade teacher at Trinity. Learning is a joy for the children in that each is encouraged to think and learn above and beyond where each has been before. The neat thing is that we are all family here. Throughout the day, you can see the care not only for the children in the classroom, but also for every child/person with whom we come in contact on a daily basis. The love of God permeates all around as the children are taught and cared for. What an awesome privilege! It is a joy!

I feel teaching is an important responsibility. To be on top of education and its benefits, our entire faculty has always attended summer school classes, reading workshops, curriculum studies and mapping of curriculum, and other related workshops that we feel would benefit the children we are teaching. I do enjoy the benefits of having Christ as our cornerstone in teaching, learning, and applying the lessons to our lives. Come and visit the classroom anytime. You are always welcome! In fact, my kids will tell you: ” You’ll have a great time!”
