The members of Trinity are joined together in Jesus’ love to
worship our Lord, grow in his Word, and share it with others.
The purpose of Trinity Lutheran Church is to prepare its members to carry out individually and as a group the command Jesus gave to his disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 when he told them to “Go and make disciples of all nations” and when he assured them of the presence of the Holy Spirit in their midst to carry out this mission with the urgency of those who truly believe the return of their Lord and Savior is imminent. Acts 1:8-11
We declare the basis for all we do and say and teach will be the whole will and counsel of God as it is fully and completely presented to us in His Holy Word, the Bible. Our concern will not only be to instruct the young in the Word of God in order that the Holy Spirit may instill in them a proper faith in Jesus Christ, but that we, being continually instructed and refreshed by our study of God’s Word, will seek to preach and to teach that word to all who ask us to give a reason for the faith that is within us so that the Holy Spirit may work faith in them as He has worked and kept us in the one true faith.
We declare that we will act with love and compassion toward all so that we may fully reflect the care and concern Christ has for each and every living soul.We declare that we will not only serve as witnesses to Jesus Christ in our own locality but will also endeavor to carry that message of a Savior to all corners of the earth.
