How did you come to Trinity?
I was assigned to Trinity as pastor in May, 2020. I began my ministry in 2018 as a high school dormitory supervisor, German instructor, and coach at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan.
What do you love about what you do?
Every day, I get to immerse myself in the gospel message of what Jesus has done for me, and it constantly challenges and changes me. Then, I get to turn around and tell people that he’s done the same thing for them! I can’t think of another profession where I’d get to be so saturated with the gospel, and I can’t think of a more humbling experience than to see God work through it.
If you had to choose a “theme passage” for your ministry, what would it be?
“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.” (Romans 1:16)

My wife Megan has been putting up with me since 2016.
When I have free time, you will find me…
Reading, running, hiking, or watching soccer.
What’s your favorite vacation spot?
The family cottage in Wisconsin.
What’s one fun fact about you?
Between us, Megan and I have reached the top of 13 mountains over 14,000 feet tall.
